Hi! I'm Nilabha. I'm soon to join Hudson River Trading as an Algo Engineer. Before that, I was at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, pursuing a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering alongside an M.Sc. in Mathematics.

My academic interests lie in cryptography, pseudorandomness, and adjacent corners of theoretical computer science such as complexity theory, coding theory, and computational number theory. On the mathematical side, I lean toward arithmetic geometry and the disciplines it draws on, chiefly number theory and algebraic geometry.

On the software side, I'm drawn to binary exploitation and systems development. A long habit of playing CTFs gave me a hacker's instinct early on, and that adversarial way of thinking has shaped how I read and approach systems ever since, even when breaking them isn't the goal.

Away from the world of digital and mathematical symbology, I possess a general interest in world history, and my fingers prance upon a guitar and piano at times. I often delve into the art of cardistry in my spare time.
